Democracy
needs defence.
The agencies tasked with protecting democratic integrity have failed. Realign Dynamics builds the open defence stack that makes transparent candidate selection mandatory.
Centralised voting
is centralised capture.
When a single vendor controls the infrastructure, the database, and the authentication, there is no separation of duties. When there is no audit trail, there is no accountability. When there is no accountability, there is no democracy.
Political parties using centralised voting software for candidate selection create a single point of failure. A single point of capture. The systems that determine who holds power are not being protected.
MI5 has a mandate to protect democratic integrity. GCHQ monitors cyber threats to critical infrastructure. NCSC is the national cyber security centre. None of them acted when the UK Labour Party procured a voting platform with no audit trail, no encryption, and no separation of duties.
"Any party using centralised voting software must be disqualified from standing in general elections."
Three products.
One operating system.
Vote executes. Guard protects. Lab analyses. Together they form the first complete open defence stack for democratic integrity.
Vote
Cast. Verify. Trust.
A secure, audited voting platform with full AES-256 encryption and cryptographic audit trails. Every vote is voter-verifiable. Every result is independently auditable.
Guard
Threat intelligence for active polls.
Event-driven analysis of ongoing votes across risk vectors and dimensions. Guard watches for the manipulation patterns that define democratic capture, in real time.
Lab
Post-hoc ontological vote analysis.
A workspace for applied ontology, deriving risk vectors from factional alignment, historical voting patterns, and cascade vulnerability points. The methodology is open. The results are verifiable.
The Anonyvoter
failure.
In 2020, the UK Labour Party procured a voting platform called Anonyvoter without tender, without audit, without any of the security controls that would be considered basic for a system determining who gets to run the country.
The platform was built by a small IT business in Croydon. It had no audit logging, no encryption at rest, and every sensitive value stored as plaintext. The vendor controlled all infrastructure: hosting, database, email, domain. There was no separation of duties. There was no independent oversight.
The system was not just insecure. It was structurally designed to allow vote rigging. The vendor could set voter weights in the database to make a single vote count as multiple votes. Phantom voters could be injected into live polls. Targeted voters could be suppressed by removing them from the voter list. All cast votes could be deleted and the poll restarted with a replacement voter list. The organiser dashboard displayed every voter's ballot code in real time, allowing votes to be cast on behalf of non-voting members. None of these actions were logged.
"The correct position is not that integrity cannot be verified. It is that there are no grounds to assume it was present."

Not a consultancy.
Not a think tank.
Realign Dynamics is an open, not-for-profit, public-led political party regulator and defence provider. We build products that make the latent space of democratic intent measurable, auditable, and crucially, restorable.
Our differentiator is that we publish the methodology. The same techniques used to capture democratic processes can be reversed to protect them. We are not a replacement for any existing platform. We are what comes after the question of whether any unaudited system should be trusted with democratic outcomes.
Take back the process.
Real people on the ground need to decide their own fate. That's how taking back power and realigning a country's priorities actually happens.
